Notes

The above slide shows XML Spy preview functionality using DBPrism CMS stylesheet. Here a quick list of how to use it:

To Edit new DBPrism CMS pages choose File->New .xml document, then XML Spy will ask for a DTD document, choose Window->document-v10.dtd, finally write "document" (without double quotes) in the entry "Select root element:". To use XSL preview option, save the previous one document into the folder pages of the project and close it. Use Project->Add Files to Projects... menu and select the file, finally open the select file by double click on it. Before using the option XSL Transform remove the Doctype entry from the document opened because this information is included in the project specification, then use XSL->XSL Transformation or press F10 Key. XML Spy will provide a preview version of the page using DBPrism CMS look and feel, to upload the edited page into the CMS open the content author web site (http://server:port/dbprism/ldoc/Home.html) and choose a location or page to upload the document. Using XML Spy's Enhanced grid view, select "document" node and right clicking on it, a menu with the option "Copy as XML Text" will appear, select it and paste this XML text into the text area that DBPrism CMS offers when you choose Edit Content. Save, and preview the content into the CMS.
